Course Description

Upon successful completion of SIT50416 Diploma of Hospitality Management at QAT, you will have the necessary skills and knowledge required to work in high-level management roles in the hospitality industry. This qualification provides a comprehensive pathway for students wishing to develop the knowledge and skills required at supervisory and management levels across a range of hospitality industry occupations. Students will develop management and leadership skills in areas such as marketing, human resources, business planning and financial control.

  • 40 weeks (2 days per week)
  • 5 hours distance learning

Entry Requirements

  • IELTS 5.5 or equivalent* (No band below 5.0)
  • Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent in the student’s home country).
  • Students who have not completed Year 12 (or equivalent) must have relevant work experience or a qualification that indicate a likely success of course completion.

*Alternatively, students are required to take a pre-test before enrolment.

Assessments

Skills and knowledge assessments are an essential step in progressing through your course.
